Commitment
At TDE, our goal is to create a positive, encouraging environment where every dancer can grow with confidence. These policies help us provide the best possible experience for every family.
♡- Tuition is due on the first day of each month. We operate month-to-month with no long-term contract.
- If tuition is not received by the 1st, we may assume the student is not re-enrolling and may fill the spot after the 15th.
- Payments can be mailed, dropped off or placed in the outdoor drop box. Mailed payments postmarked by the 5th are not considered late.
- A $10 late fee applies after the 5th. Automatic payment options are available by credit card or bank withdrawal.
Consistent attendance is essential for student progress. Habitual absences, except for illness or special circumstances, are not acceptable. Please arrive on time. We hold classes every week unless it is a major holiday, even when Basehor schools are out.
- Class uniform leotard and tights as assigned.
- Proper dance shoes that match the class style.
- Hair pulled back and out of the dancer’s face.
- No jewelry in class.
- Label shoes, dance bags and water bottles.
- Water only in dance rooms.
- Students waiting for rides must remain inside the studio.
- Please do not interrupt classes in progress.
- Wait in the lobby or use the back-door car loop until classes are called.
- Our lobby should remain calm, positive and welcoming.
Students may participate in the Winter Show and Spring Recital. Participation is optional, but once a permission slip is signed, we expect the student to perform. Last-minute withdrawals require choreography and line-ups to be reworked for the entire class.
The studio opens 10 minutes before class and closes 10 minutes after. Please do not drop students off early without supervision and pick up promptly.
- Staff begins car-loop drop-off five minutes before class and pick-up up to five minutes after.
- Children should sit on the passenger side.
- Never leave a child unattended in the car loop.
- Call or text 913-398-9228 for assistance.
If Basehor-Linwood Schools cancel due to snow or weather conditions, evening classes will be canceled. Check email or the studio’s Facebook and Instagram accounts for confirmation.
- Notify the studio one month in advance to withdraw from class or tuition will still be charged for that month.
- Missed classes are not refunded but may be made up.
- Tuition is the same each month regardless of the number of classes that month.
- No refunds are given after enrollment.
TDE may photograph or record classes, performances and studio events for website, social media and promotional use. Please contact the studio if you have questions about media permissions.
